Cashmere production accounts for only 0.5% of the world`s wool production, which proves the rarity of cashmere. Cashew fiber is collected from cashew goats, hundreds of millions of which live in Mongolia and China.

These two countries accounts for 75% of the world`s cashew production. The rest are farms in Central Asia, especially Iran and Afganistan. But this cashew does not reach the quality of the cashews of the Himalayan plateaus where the goats live in better conditions. 

Cashmere’s rarity and the meticulous production process contribute to its esteemed status in the world of luxury fabrics. With only a small percentage of the world’s wool production dedicated to cashmere, and with the best-quality fibers coming from specific regions, cashmere remains a symbol of exclusivity and elegance.
